Whenever you use the services of Bungalowpark Gouden Spar we need to register some of your personal details. It is our policy to handle your personal data with the utmost care and transparency.

Through this privacy policy we would like to inform you for which purposes and in what way your personal data are processed. 

 

This privacy policy applies to all personal data that are processed whenever you make a booking with our bungalowpark, make use of our services, visit our website or communicate with us. 

Who are we?

Bungalowpark Gouden Spar is committed to providing you with a most pleasant holiday. We rent out various types of bungalows.

What data do we collect and why?

Your personal data are mainly being processed in our system in order to make a booking with our bungalowpark. We will not be sending you any newsletters or other kind of promotional mails or letters. If you would be interested in a nice offer, you could check our Facebook page for the latest novelties. The only reason we would be needing your email address is to obtain additional information with regards to your booking, if we would ask you your estimated time of arrival, or to confirm receipt of your payment or in case it is necessary to inquire about an outstanding payment. In December we will send you an email with our best wishes for the holidays. If you do not wish to receive such mail, please do not hesitate to inform us accordingly. 

When booking your holiday accommodation

Whenever you make a booking for one of the available accommodations offered by Bungalowpark Gouden Spar, it is standard procedure to register the personal data you provide that are necessary to make the accommodation available to you. This privacy statement will apply also in the event that you should make a booking through one of our partners. 

Booking details

Booking details include information about the holiday you have booked through us, such as the type of accommodation, date of arrival, departure date, persons in your group and preferences. In order to process and confirm your booking, these data are registered in our booking system. 

Name and address details

Your name and address details are required for us to enter your booking in our booking system and to register your details in the compulsory night register, but also for example to be able to fulfill the tourist tax declaration requirement. If we are unable to provide you with certain information by email, that information will be sent to you by post to the address you have provided.

Telephone number and e-mail address

Confirmation of booking will be sent to the email address you have provided. Several days prior to your arrival we will send you another mail to ask you your estimated time of arrival and whether you will be needing bedlinnen / towel sets in case we do not have this registered as yet, in order to prepare your bungalow prior to your arrival. In case you will be arriving late (when our reception desk is closed) we also send you an ordering sheet of our bread service, in case you wish to order some fresh bread for the next day. If necessary we will also send you an email to remind you of a payment which is possibly still outstanding. Your mobile phone number is also registered in our system. We will only contact you if necessary for example on your date of arrival, when you are on your way to our park, or during your stay. 

Date of birth

Bookings cannot be made by minors. By providing us your date of birth we are able to verify whether you are authorised to make a booking. In case there are also children in your group younger than 4 years old, there is no obligation to pay  tourist tax for them. 

Bank account number

Payment for bookings is required to be made by bank transfer. Payment cannot be done by credit card. During your stay however, you can make payments by credit card at our pin machine. Your bank account number be registered solely for the purpose of transferring the deposit back to you. We will not and cannot withdraw any money from your bank account 

Contact

Our receptionists will be happy to assist you should you be having any questions regarding your booking or your stay. We have various channels available to contact us.

Online contact

If you contact us using the contact form on our website, your title, name and contact details will be registered. 

 

If you send us a request by mail we will not register your data in our reservationsystem, this will only happen when you decide to make a booking. 

By phone

If you contact us by phone, conversations will not be recorded. 

Camera surveillance

For safety purposes there is camera surveillance at our bungalowpark. 

In our accommodations there are no cameras present. 

Data received from third parties

Occasionally we do not receive data directly from you but rather from another party. For example if you make a booking for one of our accommodations through one of our partners. In this way we can register and finalize your booking in our system. Also your questions or changes in your bookingdetails can be provided to us by mentioned partners. All information which we receive from a third party can be combined with the information you already provided. 

 

We will only discuss your data with these parties in case this is necessary for the booking which you made with our bungalowpark through this third party. 

On what basis do we process personal data?

By processing your personal data we act in compliance with the provisions of the General Data Protecting Regulation. As such there is always a basis that warrants the processing of your personal data. Your data are primarily processed in relation to the conclusion of a rental agreement. We need these data to execute the agreement between you and Bungalowpark Gouden Spar. If you do not provide us with the personal data required , you will not be able to make use of our services. 

 

The processing of a number of your details is necessary in order for us to comply with a statutory obligation. For example we are required by law to record your name, address and arrival/departure date in the night register. If we require additional information we will ask your consent. 

With whom do we share your personal data?

The municipality can ask us to provide them with the data for the night register related to the obligated tourist tax. This is also the case when you make a booking with us through a third party. 

 

We make use of third parties such as IT providers for the management of our systems and the provision of services. We ensure that these parties  handle your personal data in an appropriate manner if and insofar as they have access to such data. These parties are also obligated to commit to the privacy policy regulations. 

 

In an occasional case when an invoice has not been paid, we are obliged to pass on the claim for collection to a debt collector / collection agency. Personal data which are necessary in order to collect the debt will be passed on to this party. 

How long do we keep your data?

We will not keep your data any longer than necessary in order to realize the goals which are described in this privacy polity statement, unless we are obliged based on a legal obligation to save these data for a longer period of time. Your address data will be in our reservation system for 5 years and will only be used if you would like to make a new booking during this period. As mentioned before we will only send you an email with Holiday wishes at the end of the year. If you not wish to receive such mail, please advise us in advance. 

How do we protect your data?

Bungalowpark Gouden Spar has taken technical and organizational precautions to protect your data from loss or unlawful use like unauthorized  examination of data. Our policy is aimed at a solitary admittance of your data only by staff who’s job it is to make reservations or work in the administration department. These staff members are sworn to secrecy with regards to your data. 

What are your rights?

The right of inspection and the right to rectification, restriction of processing and erasure

 

In the event that your personal data are processed by Bungalowpark Gouden Spar, you are entitled to receive a copy of the data that have been collected about you. Please contact us if you wish to receive such copy.  

 

If the statement shows that your personal data are incorrect or incomplete or if, in your opinion, in consideration of the purpose of the registration,  you feel that certain data should not be stored in our database then you may request us to amend, delete or restrict these data. In addition, you have the right to object to the processing of your data. Such requests can likewise be directed to our email or post address. Should you request that we amend or delete information that is necessary for the execution of the agreement, this may result in you not longer being able to use our services. 

Complaints

If you have any complaints about the way in which your personal data are handled, please let us know by email (info@goudenspar.nl) or contact us by post (Bungalowpark Gouden Spar, Duinweg 102, 2204 AW  Noordwijk). We will do our very best to address your complaint. You are also entitled to submit your complaint to the national supervisory authority, the Dutch Data Protection Authority.
